About Us

Why We Exist

We are a church family on mission, helping all generations
Know God, Find Freedom, Discover their Purpose and Make a Difference.

Our spiritual journey consists of four steps:

Know God

God wants to know us personally. More than just practicing religion, He wants a relationship with us. Our weekend services focus on that relationship. Whether you're new to faith, have questions, or have been a Christ follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.

Find Freedom

One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is by having people in our life to support us on the journey. Connecting with others in a Genchurch small group is a practical and enjoyable way to find that kind of life-changing community.

Discover Purpose

We're all an important part of God's plan, and our lives will never make sense until we discover our purpose. The Genchurch Growth Track is designed to help us take steps in the important process of discovering our purpose.

Make a Difference

This is God's ultimate plan for our lives - to make a difference in the lives of others. When we do, the Bible tells us we will experience joy. Through serving on a Genchurch team we hope to connect everyone to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the church and the community. Find out more about our teams in Step 3 of Growth Track.

Our Beliefs

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that a relationship with Jesus is the most transformative and fulfilling decision anyone can make. We are here to walk alongside you on that journey—helping you Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.

Meet Our Pastors

Travis & Amy Hansen | Lead Pastors

Travis & Amy Hansen are the Founding and Lead Pastors of Generations Church in Grande Prairie, AB. With a love for their city and a desire to reach people with the good news of Jesus, together they planted Generations Church in 2006. They had a vision to start a relational church where all generations, male and female could serve God together.

Our Tribe

At Generations Church, we believe the health of the church begins with the health of its leaders. Healthy pastors lead healthy churches, and healthy churches make an impact on the world around them. We are fully committed to fostering relationships that support, encourage, and strengthen us as we work together to fulfill the mission God has entrusted to us.
