A unique camp experience...

Our heart and vision is for all generations and all ages to enjoy bible camp together.

 

Camp is all about relationships and spending time getting to know God and each other. We believe one of the best ways to do this is to experience community through playing, serving and growing together. 

 

There are chapel services and group activities for all ages to enjoy together. We’ve changed things slightly so that we now have a kids and teen camp. What changes is who the chapel service is geared towards and who is in cabins during each portion of camp. What stays the same… everyone is still invited to join us for the whole week!

How can I help?

There are a few ways to help before and after bible camp.

1. Let us know you’re available to help ahead of camp, a few of our teams are looking for volunteers.

2. During camp prep days we have some tasks that need to be done, check the schedule and join us!

We’d like to extend an invitation to those who are working throughout the week to join us for supper and chapel.

FAQs

T-shirts are included in camper registrations You can add-on a t-shirt to any registration for $25. Deadline to order t-shirts is June 4th. We cannot guarantee a t-shirt for campers after this date. 

We understand that not everyone is able to take time off work to participate in camp. Adult volunteers, if your spouse would like to join for supper, please add that to your registration under ‘Add-Ons’. Letting us know in your registration allows us to prepare enough food for everyone. The cost is $10/meal. We are in the process of confirming our itinerary Meals usually have a long line up so you should have time to clean up after work and join us for supper and chapel. 

Our preferred methods of payment are e-transfer, debit or cash to help cut processing fees. Select “Pay Later” to pay with these methods. The registration form is set up to receive payments if you need to pay online. You can pay in full or make installment payments by selecting ‘Other’ when choosing the amount you wish to pay.  We request that all payments be made prior to camp start dates. (giving@genchurch.ca)

  • All electronic devices & cell phones (campers are not permitted to have cell phones at camp)

We have trailer delivery scheduled for Friday, June 29 from 6-9pm . All trailers need to arrive during this time unless other arrangements have been made with Karlyle or Tyson. For safety reasons we do not allow trailers to arrive once camp has begun.

Anyone bringing a trailer out to camp is asked to let us know when you will arrive. 

Great question! Camp thrives because of our wonderful volunteers. Along with being placed on the rotation for light kitchen duties, you may also let us know if there are other teams that interest you. A leader will reach out before camp if applicable.

We are also looking for volunteers to help before camp starts. Email us for more information and to volunteer.

And of course… we need COOKIES! 

Of course!  Please share the camp registration link with your friend so they can submit their registration. Printed invitations are available at church. The app is also a great way to share the link.

How To Register You/Your Child

  1. Begin by creating a personal account using parent email, parent phone number, and parent name
  2. Once your personal account has been created, add family members by choosing the option “+ Add someone else” and check the box for “This person is in my household“
  3. Please be patient. For security purposes, this system will use a two-step verification process to begin. Sometimes the code comes through quickly and sometimes it can take a moment.
